What is Denplan Essentials?

Denplan Essentials is an excellent way to ensure that your dental health continues to be monitored and maintained. When you have access to preventative care you may not need any restorative work. If, however, you find you need unexpected dental treatment you have reassurance that we will provide the appropriate clinical care. This needs to be paid for separately.

Good oral health is vitally important to your overall general health and wellbeing. Regular dental appointments can reduce the need for treatment in the future. Our teeth and gums naturally deteriorate as we get older so the earlier we start looking after them the better. As a Denplan Essentials patient we will advise you on the best way to keep your mouth and teeth healthy and provide you with regular examinations and time with the hygienist. Developing a good oral care routine is essential in ensuring your teeth and gums are always kept healthy. Denplan Essentials Gives You

•An easy and affordable way to budget for your routine dental care.
• Supplementary insurance to help if you have a dental injury or dental
emergency
• Routine preventative care from your dentist.
• Examinations, (up to the maximum detailed in your contract).
• Hygienist services, including scaling and polishing (up to the maximum
detailed in your contract).
• Dental X-rays.
• Any additional treatment specified as included by the dentist in your
contract.
• Preventative dental advice.
• A discounted rate if any dental treatment is required.
Does Not

Denplan Essentials does not cover

•Restorative dental treatments including fillings, crowns, root canal treatment and bridges or dentures (at the discretion of your dentist)
• Laboratory fees and prescriptions
• Any treatment excluded by the dentist in your contract is payable by
you to the dentist.
• Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment.
• Cosmetic treatment
• Sedation fees.

What is Denplan Care?

Denplan Care is a dental payment plan and is a great way of ensuring that your oral health is monitored. Denplan Care covers the treatment costs of most oral health problems so you can be assured that we will provide the appropriate clinical treatment to restore and maintain your oral health. You don’t have to worry about getting a large bill from us for your treatment.

Denplan Care Gives You

• An easy and affordable way to budget for your routine dental care.
• Supplementary Insurance to cover and help if you have a dental injury or emergency
• Routine and preventative dental care from your dentist
• Examinations.
• Hygiene treatment, including scaling and polishing.
• X-rays.
• Necessary fillings.
• Preventive dental advice and therapy.
• Any necessary extractions and restorative care from your dentist.
• Periodontal (gum) treatment.
• Crowns, bridges, dentures, inlays ( excluding laboratory fees).
• Root canal treatment.

Denplan Care does not cover

•Laboratory fees and prescriptions
• Any treatment excluded by the dentist in your contract.
• Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment.
• Treatment carried out anywhere other than by your registered dentist,
except when you need emergency temporary treatment.
• Cosmetic treatment
• Sedation fees
